Before all the hype, bullshit and commercialism, streetwear was a byproduct of wider movements like hip-hop, skateboarding and surfing. It was a state of mind and a subversive DIY subculture, bound by good vibes, creativity and belonging. Over time the scene has evolved and lost some of that culture along the way - Asterix* is about upholding those original values and attitude in a contemporary way whilst encompassing the culture as a whole in all its modern forms and variants.
